Meet The Pre-School Team

Hello my name is Katie, I joined Precious Jem's in September 2023 working 5 days a week as a qualified level 3 early years Educator. I have been working in childcare for over 11 years which I thoroughly enjoy. Observing the development of the children and watching them grow into their own little personalities is what I love the most. I have done lots of training at Precious Jem's and I'm also wellcomm certified.

Hi my name is Meaghan, I work at all of the Precious Jem's settings as a level 3 early years support and cover.  I have experience working with early years children in both Nursery and School settings. I currently work with all ages, I really enjoy  doing messy play and Story time with the children and seeing how much fun they have throughout our day.

Hi my name is Millie, last year I completed my early years T level 2 in college, I have recently joined Precious Jem's as a level 3 early years educator apprentice. Growing up I always knew wanted to work with children, it melts my heart helping and watching them learn and grow. There isn't a specific age group I prefer working with I enjoy working and gaining experience with all ages. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. 

Hi I'm Izzie (short for Izabelle), I'm Emma's daughter. Since finishing school in June 2025 I've worked at Precious Jem's on an ad hoc basis on my days off and in the holidays while I was at college, Since doing this I have realised my passion for the early years sector and I am now currently working towards my level 3.

I have always been around Early Years aged children from being young while my mum was a childminder, although I've spent years interacting with children of all ages and always loved being part of their early years.

I'm energetic, caring and enjoy supporting the fun and learning that happens here every day.

Since starting Precious Jem's I have completed lots of training courses that includes 12 hour Paediatric first aid, level 2 safeguarding, level 2 food safety and hygiene and food allergy awareness for early years etc.
