Meet The Pre-School Team

Hello, I’m Laura! I joined Precious Jem's in July 2025 and currently work in the Jumbos room. I’m studying for a BA (Hons) Level 6 in Childhood Studies and I'm a proud mum of four. My goal is to work alongside the SENDCo team to support children and families in reaching their full potential. I love seeing the children at Precious Jem's grow, learn, and develop new skills every day.

Hello, my name is Melissa and I started my journey at Precious Jem's November 2025, I have experience with 2 of my own children as well as 7 years working in an early years setting, where I gained my level 3 early educator qualification. I am based at the pre-school setting and I’m enjoying every minute of it!

​Hi! I'm Lynsey, I joined Precious Jem's Childcare in March 2023 as a level 2 early years apprentice to pursue my dream career which I have now completed. As well as completing my level 2 I have completed a variety of training courses including specific training for children under 2 years of age. I have worked and gained experience with all ages since joining in 2023 but I'm now based at Pre-School.

In 2023, I became Mum to an amazing little girl who makes me so proud every single day.

I joined Precious Jem’s in September 2025, bringing with me over three years of experience in childcare. Before that, I worked in adult care homes, which gave me a real passion for supporting people of all ages.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Health & Social Care, and I’m now excited to be working towards my Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator). I love helping little ones grow, learn, and shine in their own unique ways!
