Meet The Bredbury Team

Leanne

Hi, I'm Leanne, I work primarily in the baby room and have more than 20 years of experience in early years education, specialising in working with babies and toddlers. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and I am also Welcomm certified.

I love working with children and get so much joy from watching them grow and develop. In my room, we love to sing songs, and have lots of fun exploring sensory activities. I believe in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels happy and secure.

Outside of work, I'm a proud mum to two wonderful boys. We love to spend our time playing football and exploring the outdoors

Karen

Hi, my name is Karen. I joined Precious Jem's at Bredbury in September 2025 and work in the Giant Jem's room. I am a Level 3 Early Years Educator with over 30 years of experience working in a team, mainly with 2-4 year olds in various early years settings.

I enjoy planning a wide range of activities to support children, making learning fun, and helping them grow and achieve to the best of their abilities. I am passionate about children's books, bringing stories to life and supporting children with their communication and language development. I am also Welcomm certified.

Outside of work I love spending quality time with my family and volunteering at a local Girl guiding group in the community, I am a Brownie leader, working in team to help build girls aged 7-10's confidence through learning new skills.

Liam

Hi, I’m Liam. I began my career in early years education five years ago and have developed a deep passion for supporting children’s learning and growth. I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare and am committed to continuous professional development to enhance my skills as an educator. I take great pride in helping children build confidence and independence as they prepare for school. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, creating lasting memories together.

Ella

Hi, I’m Ella! I started my journey in childcare in late 2020 and I’ve loved every moment since. I’m a very positive and energetic person, and I have a real passion for working with young children. I love supporting them as they grow, learn new skills, and gain confidence throughout their time with us here at Precious Jems.

I’m currently a qualified Level 2 Practitioner and I’m really excited to be starting my Level 3 training in October so I can continue to build on my skills and give the best care and support to the children.

Cat

Hi my name is Cat and I work at Precious Jem's Bredbury.

I began my career in childcare in 2007 and hold a level 2 qualification. Now that my own 2 children are a bit older I'm excited to continue  developing my skills and working towards further qualifications in early years.

I'm passionate about supporting children as they grow, and I absolutely love seeing them reach milestones and watching their unique personalities shine through.

Hi, I’m Kirsty! I’ve recently joined Precious Jems and am working towards my Level 3 qualification in Early Years childcare. I’m passionate about supporting children as they grow and thrive. I'm a proud mum of two who keep me on my toes every day!
