Welcome to our website. Our names are Jennie & Emma (Jem's) we are sisters and we are the managing directors of Precious Jem's Childcare.
We were both Ofsted registered childminders within our own homes for over 10+ years but worked together daily whilst we raised our young families.
We both absolutely loved being childminders, that is why we brought the home from home feel to our Nurseries and Pre-School.
We are constantly adapting our nurseries and Pre-School for our children and staff with the help from our amazing husbands.
Children's health and safety is our number 1 priority, this is why every member of our staff hold a full 12 hour paediatric qualification, they are level 2 safeguard trained, they are all safer sleep trained, hold a level 2 in food safety and hygiene and the full management team are all fully DSL trained.

Adele
Hello, I'm Adele and I'm the Manager of Precious Jem's Childcare, working with both Nursery and Preschool every day.
As part of this role I will also be undertaking the responsibility of the DSL as well as supporting within the SENco role. I have worked with children throughout my entire career and have achieved a Level 6 degree in Early Childhood Studies as well as having achieved various other qualifications relevant to working with children including being Wellcomm certified.
I started my journey at Precious Jem's in August 2023 and I intend to stay forever and ever!
In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with my partner, friends and family.

Julia
Hi my name is Julia and I am the Manager of Precious Jem's Pre-School.
I worked in early years many years ago where I became a level 3 qualified. After bringing up my own 2 children I have returned to the early years sector.
I started my journey at Precious Jem's Childcare in October 2022. I have worked my way up from being 3rd in charge at the nursery to Pre-School Deputy Manager to Precious Jem's Pre-School Manager. I have done a variety of training courses and I am Wellcomm certified.
I'm loving my journey at Precious Jem's :)

Hi my name is Chloe, I have been working at Precious Jem's from the day it opened. I am a qualified level 3 early years educator, level 3 qualified EY SENCO and Wellcomm certified.
I have worked with all ages since being here at Precious Jem's from babies up to pre-school, working my way up to Deputy manager of Precious Jem's and I am based at the pre-school setting.

Hello I am Rachael. I have been at Precious Jem's Childcare since 1st August 2022 (the day the nursery opened), along with my daughter who has now moved on to school. I am level 3 qualified and I have worked in nurseries for many years. I Started Precious Jem's as the Mini Jem's room leader and moved up with my cohort of children, I am now in Jumbo Jem's with children aged 2-3 years and I have worked my way up to recently becoming Reddish setting Deputy Manager.
