Welcome to Precious Jem’s Bredbury, our newest addition to the Precious Jem’s family! Located in the heart of Bredbury, this setting is currently undergoing an ongoing exciting refurbishment, inside and out, as we create a beautiful, inspiring space tailored to the needs of children aged 0–5 years.
Throughout the refurbishment, we are committed to ensuring that the children’s learning and daily routines remain uninterrupted. We’re doing everything possible to carry out the work in a way that doesn’t impact their day to day activities. Our experienced team continues to provide a nurturing, engaging environment where every child is encouraged to learn through play, creativity, and exploration.
Once complete, Our Bredbury setting will offer the same homely, safe, and inspiring atmosphere we’re known for, designed to help children feel confident, curious, and supported as they grow. From cosy corners for quiet moments to open, interactive spaces for hands on learning, our newly refurbished setting will truly be a place where imaginations can soar.
With plenty of safe outdoor play, sensory experiences, and nurturing care, our team is dedicated to giving each child the best possible start in life. We look forward to welcoming new families to join our existing families into our newest setting and sharing the exciting journey as we create something truly special.
Teeny Jem's
Our Teeny Jems Room is a calm, nurturing space designed especially for our youngest children, those under the age of two who are non-walkers or just beginning to find their feet. This room offers a safe, comforting environment where little ones can explore, discover, and develop at their own pace.
Because sensory exploration is such an important part of early development, the Teeny Jems Room is thoughtfully set up to stimulate the senses in gentle and engaging ways. Our black and white area supports early visual development, while our cosy corner provides a soft, calming space for rest, cuddles, and quiet moments.
The room is filled with age appropriate resources and sensory rich experiences that encourage curiosity, movement, and connection, helping our tiniest learners build confidence as they begin their exciting journey of growth and discovery.
Tiny Jem's
Our Tiny Jems Room is a bright, engaging environment created for our under 2’s who are confident on their feet and eager to explore. This room supports growing independence and curiosity, providing a safe and stimulating space where children can make their own choices and develop key early skills through play.
Within our continuous provision, we offer a range of thoughtfully designed areas to encourage self-directed exploration and learning. Children can get creative in our craft area, enjoy stories in our reading corner, and take part in imaginative play in our role-play kitchen.
In addition to these opportunities for independent play, our practitioners plan adult led activities each day, giving children the chance to experience new textures, materials, and ideas while building confidence and communication skills.
The Tiny Jems Room provides the perfect balance of comfort, exploration, and guided learning, supporting our little ones as they grow, discover, and develop at their own pace.
Giant Jem's
Our Giant Jems Room is an exciting, stimulating environment for children aged over two, designed to nurture growing confidence, independence, and curiosity. As our older children continue their learning journey, this room provides rich opportunities to explore, create, and develop the key skills that prepare them for the next stage of their education.
The continuous provision within the Giant Jems Room encourages children to make independent choices, solve problems, and express themselves through a range of engaging play experiences. From imaginative role play and creative activities to construction, reading, and outdoor exploration, every area is carefully planned to inspire learning through play.
Our practitioners also provide adult-led activities that build on each child’s interests and abilities, supporting early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. These experiences play a vital role in developing the foundations for school readiness, helping children to build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning as they prepare for their transition to school life.
The Giant Jems Room is a place where every child is encouraged to shine growing into independent, capable learners ready to take on new adventures
