Meet The Reddish Team

Hello I am Rachael. I have been at Precious Jem's Childcare since 1st August 2022 (the day the nursery opened), along with my daughter who has now moved on to school. I am level 3 qualified and I have worked in nurseries for many years. I Started Precious Jem's as the Mini Jem's room leader and moved up with my cohort of children, I am now in Jumbo Jem's with children aged 2-3 years and I have worked my way up to recently becoming Reddish setting Deputy Manager.

Hello my name is Katie, I joined Precious Jem's in September 2023 working 3 days a week as a qualified level 3 early years practitioner and I have worked up to becoming a room leader. I have been working in childcare for over 9 years which I thoroughly enjoy. Observing the development of the children and watching them grow into their own little personalities is what I love the most.

My name is Maizie I am a level 3 early years Educator.

Precious Jem's was my last placement while I was doing my level 3 at college which I completed in May 2023, I then became part of Team Jem's in June 2023.

Since becoming part of Precious Jem's I have done various training courses to widen my knowledge within early years. I have worked with all ages here at Precious Jem's.

Hi I am Taila and I am a level 2 early years practitioner.

I have been at Precious Jem's since January 2023 joining as an Early Years apprentice and gaining experience with all ages. Not only have I gained a qualification since being at Precious Jem's I have also gained confidence within my practice and myself by completing various other early years training courses. I love helping the children achieve their milestones and celebrating each and every one.

Hi I'm Gemma, I qualified as a level 3 early years educator many years ago. Since then I have had my own children and I have returned to the early years sector. I love watching the children learn and develop and see them gain their own little characters and personalities.

Hi I’m Heidi. I’ve worked in childcare for 5 years. I started as a level 2 apprentice and worked my way to complete my level 3, I have been qualified for nearly 3 years. I have had experience with all age ranges up to 5 years old.

Myself and my daughter started our journey with Precious Jem’s in January 2025. I am based in Mini Jem’s and I really enjoy watching them grow into small young individuals.

Hi my name is Meaghan I am a level 3 early years practitioner. I have experience working with early years children in both Nursery and School settings. I currently work with all ages, I really enjoy  doing messy play and Story time with the children and seeing how much fun they have throughout our day.

Hiya my name is Glo. I joined Precious Jem's in September 2025 as a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator. I have been working in the Mini Jem's room with the babies although I have experience with various age groups, which enables me to adapt my planning to suit all ages and stages. In my personal time, I am passionate about music and singing, as well as playing rugby.

Hello, I’m Laura! I joined Precious Jem's in July 2025 and currently work in the Jumbos room. I’m studying for a BA (Hons) Level 6 in Childhood Studies and I'm a proud mum of four. My goal is to work alongside the SENDCo team to support children and families in reaching their full potential. I love seeing the children at Precious Jem's grow, learn, and develop new skills every day.

Hello, my name is Jaiden! I joined Precious Jems in June 2025 as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner and am currently training towards my Level 3 qualification. I am mainly based in the Dinkys room but also enjoy supporting in other rooms when needed. I love seeing the children grow into their own unique personalities, learning, and having fun along the way. I’m delighted to be part of their journey here at Precious Jems.

Hello, my name is Kasey. I am currently undertaking my Level 3 apprenticeship at Precious Jem’s where I work four days a week, Monday to Thursday after recently achieving my Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare at college. I have completed a range of training courses covering various aspects of early years education, which have strengthened my understanding of children’s safety, well-being, and development.

Through my experience working with children aged 1–5 years, I have developed strong skills in supporting their growth, learning, and individual needs. I am deeply passionate about working in the Early Years sector, as it allows me to provide children with the best possible experiences and help them reach their full potential.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.

Hi I'm Tracy. I have been with Precious Jem's Childcare since August 2022. I am level 3 qualified with 30+ years of experience within early years. I have worked in other nursery settings and I have also been an Ofsted registered childminder. I am mostly based in the Jumbo's room as extra support and lunch time cover.

Hi My Name is Lauren. I have been working at Precious Jem's since September 2024. I am based in Mini Jem's but I also help out in other rooms to gain experience with all ages as I am working towards my Early years level 2. In my spare time I love spending time with my baby nephew and family.

Hi, I’m Esmeray. I’m a Level 2 qualified childcare practitioner and a proud mum of two. My passion for working with children comes from both my professional training and my experience as a parent. I truly believe every child is unique and special in their own way, and I love supporting them as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, caring, and fun environment where each child feels valued and confident. It’s a joy to be part of the Precious Jem’s team and to share in each child’s early learning journey.  

Hello, my name is Kayleigh. I am currently working towards my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification as an apprentice. I have always enjoyed working with children and find it rewarding to see them develop new skills, grow in confidence, and build their understanding of the world around them.

Hi my name is Millie, last year I completed my early years T level 2 in college, I have recently joined Precious Jem's as a level 3 early years educator apprentice. Growing up I always knew wanted to work with children, it melts my heart helping and watching them learn and grow. There isn't a specific age group I prefer working with I enjoy working and gaining experience with all ages. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
